Chromatic Pastel

All saturations are capped low for a soft, pastel feel:

(default) / pastel — Pastel (55%). The richest tone in this palette.

f / faded — Faded (35%). Subtle and receding.

w / whisper — Whisper (16%). Barely tinted, almost neutral.

All in the upper lightness range — nothing darker than 72%:

100 cloud · 200 soft · 300 light · 400 pastel · 500 medium

Every color has interchangeable names. A faded soft rose:

rose-f200 rose-faded-200
rose-f-soft rose-faded-soft

Pastel is the default — rose-200 = rose-pastel-200.
