Each hue has 6 tiers from near-gray to full color:
g / grayish — Nearly gray, just a hint of color
s / subtle — Understated, tinted neutral
d / dull — Desaturated, muted tone
m / mid — Balanced saturation
c / colorful — Rich and vivid
v / vibrant — Maximum saturation (default)

Numbers indicate lightness from near-white to near-black. Each has a natural language alias:
50 palest · 100 lightest · 200 verylight · 300 lighter · 400 light · 500 bright · 600 mid · 700 dark · 800 darker · 900 verydark · 950 deepest · 1000 darkest
Token Aliases
Every color has interchangeable names. A mid-saturation light sapphire can be any of:
sapphire-m400 sapphire-mid-400
sapphire-m-light sapphire-mid-light
Vibrant is the default — blue-500 = blue-v500 = blue-vibrant-500.
